Toronto Elopement at Preto Loft

I was really excited when Valentina asked me to take her and Bruno’s wedding portraits. I absolutely love shooting intimate moments with couples, so I was really looking forward to photographing them and some of their immediate family members. Because they wanted to have a very simple and stress-free wedding, they had a civil ceremony and portraits at Preto Loft in downtown Toronto. Because it was such a relaxed atmosphere, both Valentina and Bruno were able to enjoy themselves and have fun.

I really love how a lot of couples these days are choosing to take the non-traditional wedding route. It is not for everyone, but I think a lot of people don’t realize they have other options. You can pretty much get married and have your reception anywhere - by the lake, on a mountain, in a restaurant, cafe… you name it! It’s a great idea especially if you want to elope or have an intimate wedding that’s focused on the TWO of you and not everyone else.
