Toronto Maternity Photoshoot with Kayla and

When Kayla reached out to me, she was very specific about wanting to do something that was simple, classic and timeless for her maternity photoshoot. I loved this idea because you can’t really go wrong with simplicity especially when it comes to portraits. The focus is the mother, the couple and the belly. Often times, not having distracting backgrounds and clothes is actually a better way to go.

We shot these in an empty apartment in Toronto. We used a white wall and a black backdrop as the background, plus window light and one constant light. It was a super simple setup which worked perfectly for this shoot. Check out the photos below!
